V is for .... Victoria

This is my contribution for the Letter V in the

A large chunk of my research has been in Victoria as most of my ancestors arrived here in the mid 1800s.

The list of following sites are ones I have used repeatedly.

They are predominately Victorian but some are also for wider Australia.

  1. Thanks for sharing this great array of Victorian resources -will be sure to share them with Mr Cassmob as I've limited experience with Vic. Now we've read one post off our blog lists ;-)

  2. That is a great bunch of websites. I would add the Archival Access Victoria blog, which tells more about the records held at PROV, but you might already know about all the records there anyway, but I find it useful ;-)

  3. I didn't know about the Archival Access Victoria blog and have just had a look, it is wonderful thanks!

  4. Thank you Kerryn. I have used most of these websites but a couple are new to me. I shall go and have a search now :)
