Trove Tuesday - Attempted suicide at Cross Keys Hotel

In 1893 my great great grandmother, Alice Morgan, was licensee of the original Cross Keys Hotel at Essendon.  There always seemed to be some eventful happening.

This time it was an attempted suicide next door.

Her son Frank Morgan was a grocer there and on the 7th of November that year Frank was confronted with a neighbours attempted suicide.
